In Guided Self Healing, you and your GSH facilitator
become a team working for your health and development. In private, sacred
space the facilitator will guide you through the five steps that make
up a typical GSH session. This can be done with private sessions or in
groups. Once you learn it, you can do it yourself.

The 5 steps which typically make up a GSH
healing session are:
- Find the Highest Priority
Intention (HPI) and Do Safety Checks.
Discover why you've truly come and be certain all parts of your being
give permission to proceed. After a brief check-in, the GSH
facilitator will ask,
"If you could have your heart's desire from our
time together today, even if it felt like a miracle to you, what would
you intend?"
While you may have come with a conscious intent, sometimes muscle-testing
will validate one or more of your intentions as the highest priority.
At other times, it will suggest that there is a higher priority which
is out of your awareness. Most often, this is called a sabotage
transformational pattern.
- Check for Sabotage.
Continuing with muscle testing, the GSH facilitator checks for any underlying
issues that are keeping you from working on your goal or intention.
Like building a house, clearing energetic
blocks created by sabotage transformational
patterns before working on your intention assures a strong foundation
that supports your work.
- Find the Story and Intervention.
After finding the HPI and clearing any sabotage, discover what has kept
you from manifesting your intention and what you are to do about it.
Stories
Often, the block or issue that is holding you back will appear as a
narrative, or as a string of thoughts and/or beliefs. You may or may
not be aware of these stories. Using muscle-testing,
the GSH practitioner will find the
technique that is most appropriate for you to find your story. For example,
you may find the story by receptively opening to the discomfort that
you feel in your body that is associated with your HPI.
Interventions
You may know what to do to transform the blocked energy or we may use
muscle-testing to select from a long
list of possible interventions and energetic practices. These include
and are not limited to:
- acupressure
- eye-movement
- forgiveness practices
- drawing
- channeling light and sound
There are unlimited ways to transform blocked energy and to raise our
vibration.
- Do the Intervention.
The energetic practice is identified while focusing on the discomfort
in your body that is associated with your blocked intention. Sometimes,
the only practice necessary is to become aware of the narrative associated
with your blocked intention. The intervention is complete when the associated
discomfort transforms.
- Discover the Learnings
and Conclusion.
Lessons are learned on both personality and soul levels. This final
part ensures that the block on your intention has cleared completely.
It also discovers if any ongoing practices or behavioral changes are
needed to maintain or support your healing. It will help you to accept
responsibility for a new way of being with what you've learned and the
consequences of it in your life.
